Kasoundi, a spicy condiment, originated in South India, notably Kerala. Typically made with mustard seeds, vinegar, and spices, it has evolved regionally. Loved for its versatility, Kasoundi is cherished globally for enhancing a variety of dishes. So as you might have gathered, Kasoundi is a spice mix. This signature spice mix can be combined with a variety of main players, from chicken (it will then be called Chicken Kasoundi) to tomato and eggplants (we went with the last one as we are a vegetarian kitchen).
